Aberlink CAD Comparison -measurement software can read inside solid models in STEP or IGES formats. Measurement and model verification takes place either with a manual or CNC-controlled machine. The measurement program works with Aberlink and Faro measuring devices. The orientation of the measured data to the model takes place either through known elements or through “best fit” method using measured surface points. The measured points are visible on the screen color-coded, and the line associated with them goes to the box that indicates the error.
