High precision digital measuring instrument
Developed by Vision Engineering, the EVO Cam II is an advanced, high-resolution digital microscope designed to meet the needs of the most demanding industrial environments. It combines exceptional image quality, intuitive usability and versatile configuration options, making it an excellent tool for quality control, inspection and documentation. The device offers Full HD video at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second, ensuring a lag-free and crystal-clear live view without motion blur. This is particularly critical for fast inspection tasks and precision assembly operations where even the smallest details need to be detected immediately.
The microscope’s powerful 30:1 optical zoom and maximum magnification of up to 3,600x allow you to seamlessly move from a wide overview to extremely fine detail. The EVO Cam II is equipped with fast autofocus that keeps the subject sharp throughout the zoom range, but also allows the user to switch to full manual control if required. The system’s intelligent features, such as focus stacking, allow you to capture tall components with the entire subject in sharp focus from floor to ceiling, overcoming the limitations of traditional depth of field.
Convenience has been brought to the fore by integrating direct storage on a USB memory stick, eliminating the need for a separate computer for many tasks. Professional inspection work is also facilitated by the instrument’s built-in measurement tools, such as virtual thrust gauges and customisable measurement grids that allow accurate measurements directly from the screen. In addition, ten programmable presets allow the user to save and restore optimal settings for different objects, significantly speeding up work and ensuring consistency between users.
The lighting is optimised with an eight-point LED ring light, which provides shadowless and natural light on the surface of the target. The optional unique 360-degree rotating viewing head allows you to view components from different angles without having to move the screen itself, an invaluable feature when inspecting circuit board soldering or fine mechanical parts, for example. The EVO Cam II is not only a technically superior instrument, it is an ergonomic package that reduces operator fatigue and improves productivity in a modern production environment.
